Women At Work...

"The woman is the most perfect doll that i have dressed with delight and admiration."

Karl Lagerfeld

"The only real elegance is in the mind; if you’ve got that, the rest really comes from it."

Diana Vreeland

It's a social law from many, many years ago, that the men are the workers, the stronger and the captains in a family. They bring the food to home, the bigger income in a house comes from "the man in the family".

But as you may have heard before: "the years are changing", "today is way different than back in my time...", etc, etc. And so is the role of women at work.

The gender equality has evolved positively in the last years, and its the result of many of us fighting for our rights and our place through all this years.

But with all that, women don't leave aside our feminism that distinguish ourselves from men, and that's where our elegance and style must emphasize.

"Working women" means power mixed with elegance, independence with style, and that escence is really difficult to reach, to have, to follow, that once you get it you have to "get juice" from it.

Which woman inspires you?
Go out,
and create yourself.

Review from NYFW Fall 2013

CALVIN KLEIN: Fall 2013 Forward March

”{…}sharp shouldered coats and oversized roller belts{…}. Calvin Klein creative director Francisco Costa was doing military for fall.”

”{…}(It)was all about structure: strong shoulders and wide lapels on coats; stiff leather tops and paneled skirts.”

-Personally, Calvin Klein has been my favorite of all times. The essence seems to never change and I adore that. Perfection at the finest look.-

DKNY: Fall 2013 Throwback

“This came on the heels of the announcement of a re-release of classic DKNY pieces from the ’90s at cool-kid central, Opening Ceremony.”

”{…}(The collection) recalled ’90s street style–we’re talking oversized sweatshirt tops, anoraks, maxi skirts, varsity jackets and knit beanies–but it was all thoroughly modern{…}”.

“The varsity jacket was done in suiting fabrics with leather sleeves–a nod to menswear inspiration which manifested in slim dress coats as well.”

-As I always say, there has never been a more fashionable moment than the 90’s, and I just wanted someone to bring it back! Now DKNY did it with really beautiful pieces. Loved this collection.-

MICHAEL KORS: Fall 2013 Glam Fashletes

”{…}Kors’s runway featured a team of “commando-glam fashletes”.

”{…}the collection’s color palette as well; tangerine, cobalt and chili tones played against abstracted prints for graphic effect.”

“Active details moved Kors’ classic shapes forward, with scuba paneling, Velcro closures, and racing stripes factoring centrally in the garments’ slick-sleek aesthetic.”

-I have recently discovered Michael Kors, and It was love at first sight when I saw its bags and watches, and now that I have explored his designs through the years I can totally say that he is an innovator and has an exclusive view of fashion. This collection is just perfect for young ladies who deserve to wear MK’s pieces of ART.-

RALPH LAUREN: Fall 2013 From Russia With Love

“This season Lauren went to Russia {…}. You could see that essence of Ralph Lauren in the cozy cable knits, the wide leather belts, and more streamlined leather coats.”

-Classic, Elegant, and Exclusive from this excelent and super talented designer.-
